ULLAS (Understanding of Lifelong Learning for All in Society) is a flagship Indian government scheme, also known as the New India Literacy Programme (NILP), focused on achieving foundational literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills for adults (15+) who missed formal schooling, promoting lifelong learning through volunteerism, digital tools (like the DIKSHA portal), and community engagement to create a truly literate India by 2030.
